on star trek

1) I wanted more Zoe Saldana.

2) and more Spock/Uhura moments

3) I mean I like the Spock/Kirk dynamic but

4) In general, the entire movie was me realizing that I love Zoe Saldana even more than i had previously thought.

5) and lens flare.

“Be contemporary. Have impact. Strive for it. Be of the world. Move it. Be bold, don’t hold back. Then the moment you think you’ve been bold, be bolder. We are all alive today, ever so briefly here now, not then, not ago, not in some dreamworld of a hypothetical future. Whatever you do, you must make it contemporary. Make it matter now. You must give us a new path to tread, even if it carries the footfalls of old soles. You must not be immune to the weird urgency of today.”

If Morgan Freeman Read the Insane Delta Gamma Sorority Letter

I can’t stop laughing at this.

you know, I don’t even know what this is really about. but Morgan Freeman’s voice saying the f-word a gazillion times is both hilarious and very soothing. huh.
